In some situations, it is recommended to conduct psychotherapy in cooperation with a doctor, which is discussed during the consultation. The consultation stage ends with the establishment of a therapeutic contract, which includes, among others, the frequency of meetings, terms of cooperation, and payment terms.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a psychological consultation and psychotherapy?
A psychological consultation is 1–3 diagnostic meetings that allow assessment of the problem and decision whether and what form of help is needed. Psychotherapy is a long-term treatment process. Consultation is often the first step.
Do I need a referral for a consultation?
No. A private psychotherapy practice does not require medical referral — you can book a visit directly through the form or by phone.
What happens during the first visit?
The first meeting (60 min) is a diagnostic conversation: the therapist asks about your difficulties, history and expectations. There is no pressure or judgement. Based on this, you will jointly establish a further plan.
